[Registration closed](MVS20260504)Hong Kong Space Museum: "Rocket 101" Parent-child Workshop

Background: Jointly organised by the Hong Kong Space Museum and the Hong Kong Public Libraries, the “Rocket 101” Parent-child Workshop will feature the science of rockets, and will introduce the country’s astronauts and achievements in space technology through a variety of teaching materials. Each session can accommodate about 20 families, with each family consisting of one child and one parent.

Details: 

-        To assist in the logistics, distribution and collection of the materials

-        To guide the participants to understand the activity contents

-        To assist museum staff to conduct various activities

-        To take photos of the activities

No. of volunteers required: 3 persons for each activity  

Requirement: 

-        Fluent in spoken Cantonese

-        Friendly, patient and good at teaching students

-        Polite with good interpersonal and communication skills

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 29 May 2026 (Friday).

Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 24 June 2026 (Wednesday).  The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
