Background: The Science Promotion Unit of the Hong Kong Science Museum will organise two booth activities at the Hong Kong Flower Show 2026, including the "QK x Flower Show 2026 – QK POST Roadshow" and the "QK x Flower Show 2026 – Dried Flower Aroma Stone Workshop". Through the roving exhibition and the design of their own dried flower aroma stones, the public can learn about the science related to flowers.
Details:
- To invite the public to visit the exhibition and participate in the workshop
- To assist with venue setup and cleanup, manage participant admission and maintain order
- To assist in preparing and distribute workshop materials and to provide guidance to participants in designing aroma stone
- To invite participants to complete the questionnaire

Requirement:

- Fluent in spoken Cantonese and able to communicate in simple Putonghua and English preferred - Priority will be given to volunteers who have experience in science education or have previously provided volunteer services to the Science Museum - Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time - Polite and has good communication skills as well as a good customer service manner

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 14 January 2026 (Wednesday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 11 February 2026 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
