Background: This service is a pilot scheme to provide fixed-point guided tour to promote Hong Kong Museum of History, Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum and Law Uk Folk Museum so as to enrich the museum visiting experience.
Details: Volunteers will be assigned to provide fixed-point guided tour on highlight exhibits in the designated areas of following exhibitions to promote the museum and enhance the visiting experience.

Requirement:
- Basic knowledge of Hong Kong history and culture
- Good presentation, communication and customer service skills
- Holder of post-secondary qualifications or above
- Fluent in Cantonese; being able to communicate in simple Putonghua and English preferred
- Priority to those with previous experience in conducting museum guided tours

Briefing
Except for those who have already participated in the briefing session on 27 April 2025, 6 July 2025 or 4 October 2025, all successful applicants are required to attend the briefing session.
Date: 11 January 2026 (Sunday)
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Hong Kong Museum of History
Details: Introduce the content of the programme outline and key points, provide information of the highlight exhibits and basic docent skills. (To be presented in video format.)
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 21 November 2025 (Friday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 17 December 2025 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
