Background: Hong Kong Museum of History is dedicated to organising various exhibitions which outline the historical and cultural heritage of Hong Kong.  This has made the Museum as one of the most favorite museums for local and overseas visitors.

Details:

-         To take photos for the visitors at Lobby area

-         To provide cloakroom service for the visitors

-         To assist in handling enquiries and applications about the Museum Pass

-         To assist in sales of publications and souvenirs

Date: 1 January 2026 to 30 March 2026(Every Monday, Wednesday to Sunday, except the first two days of the Chinese New Year)


Time:  

-      Morning session: 9:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.

-      Afternoon session: 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

* Chinese New Year's Eve afternoon session: 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
* Briefing of service will be conducted on site

Location: Hong Kong Museum of History (100 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui)

No. of volunteers required: 1 person per session

Requirement: 

-         Fluent in spoken Cantonese and able to communicate with visitors in simple Putonghua and English preferred

-         Polite and has good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good customer service manner

-         Form 5 or above

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 21 November 2025 (Friday).

Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 17 December 2025 (Wednesday).  The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
