Background: The "Hong Kong Railway Museum Fun Day" is the annual mega event hosted by the Hong Kong Railway Museum. Once again, we are thrilled to present a diverse range of engaging activities where the public can immerse themselves in the rich history of local railways, creating unforgettable memories.

Details: To assist in booth operation of “Treasure Hunt at Hong Kong Railway Museum” and “Railway Badge Making”, crowd control and take photo record of the activities.

Date: 23 November 2025 (Sun)

Time:  

(i) 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (including 1-hour lunch time) or  

(ii) 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. or 

(iii)1:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.  

Location: 

Hong Kong Railway Museum (13 Shung Tak Street, Tai Po Market, Tai Po)  

No. of volunteers required: 8 persons per each session

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 31 October 2025 (Friday).

Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 12​ November 2025 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
