Background: The eighth edition of the “Hong Kong-Macao Visual Art Biennale” features the Hong Kong section, which was first presented in Beijing and Shenzhen in 2022, before exhibiting in Hong Kong. The installations and interactive creations by Hong Kong artists Joseph Chan Ka-chun, Chris Cheung Hon-him, Tung Wing-hong, Kenny Wong Chi-chuen and the duo Samuel Yip Wai-hon and Janice To Tsz-sum exhibited illustrate the evolution of technology—from mechanics and electronics to digitalisation and artificial intelligence—alongside its application in creative endeavors.
