Background: The Hong Kong Space Museum will transform into a "Starry Wonderland". The participants can stargaze with astronomical telescopes at the Rooftop and learn about the knowledge of astronomy by joining treasure hunt in the exhibition halls.
Details:
- To prepare the treasure hunt activities
- To facilitate the participants to find the answers in exhibition halls
- To assist in distributing souvenirs to participants who completed the activities
- To assist in stargazing activities. The volunteers may work in outdoor venue
- To assist in maintaining order in the activity
- To assist in distributing the participation pass for the stargazing activities
- To assist in clean up after the activityDate: 21 November 2026 (Saturday)
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
(Including 30 minutes briefing time, 30 minutes clean up time; distribution time of participation pass: 6:30 p.m.; activity time: 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.)

Location: Hong Kong Space Museum (10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui) No. of volunteers required: 8 persons |
Requirement:
- Fluent in spoken Cantonese and able to communicate with visitors in simple Putonghua and English preferred
- Polite and has good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good customer service manner
- Form 5 or above
- Priority will be given for whom have experience in astronomy education; or providing services in Hong Kong Space Museum or Hong Kong Science Museum

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 4 September 2026 (Friday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 7 October 2026 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
