Background: As the fourth exhibition in the "Archaic Curator Series", Oi! has invited Dr. Chen Fong Fong, Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Hong Kong Baptist University, as the guest curator. Taking Mount Luofu—revered as the premier mountain of Lingnan—as her theme, Dr. Chen has invited local artists Chui Pui Chee, Sam Cheng and Henry Lam to participate. Through their various artistic languages, spanning calligraphy, Chinese painting and multimedia art, the three artists will interpret imagery of celestial Mount Luofu, inviting viewers to embark on an imaginative journey to recreate this renowned mountain of Lingnan.

Requirement:
- Fluent in spoken Cantonese, proficiency in Mandarin and English is a plus. - Polite, good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good customer service manner. - Completed Secondary 5 education level or above. - Priority will be given to those who have experience of working as docent/ ambassador/ customer service in art-related workplaces. Briefing: *All successful applicants are required to attend the briefing session to learn more about the service details. Date: 7 December (Monday) (To be confirmed) Time: 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. Location: Oil Street Art Space (Oi!), 12 Oil Street, North Point, Hong Kong Details: The curatorial team from Oi! will introduce the exhibition and the artwork, as well as the background of Oi!, duties and gallery operation. (The briefing will be conducted in Cantonese.) |
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 4 September 2026 (Friday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 7 October 2026 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
