Background: Croucher Science Week 2026 features science demonstrations and workshops that focus on the science in everyday life. Participants will gain a better understanding of the connections between scientific knowledge and daily life. The Hong Kong Science Museum is now inviting volunteers to assist with programme operation.

Tips from HKScM:
The event of CSW 2026 includes Science Show, Science Busking, Science Demonstrator and Laboratory Programme.
The Science Show dated 3 & 4 April, 5&7 April is same. Since some event dates have the same programme schedule, volunteers interested in assisting with different programmes can register according to the types mentioned above. Please note that the programmes are subject to change without prior notice.

| Location: Various venues of the Hong Kong Science Museum (Classroom, Laboratory, V-learning Room, Lecture Hall) (2 Science Museum Road, Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon) No. of volunteers (Max. Capacity): 2-8 persons per session |
Requirement:
- Fluent in Cantonese and English (programmes will be conducted in English)
- Polite with good interpersonal and communication skills and customer service manner

Form 5 or above (Priority will be given to those who have qualifications
or experience in science)
*HKScM will send the details of duties and related programmes to successful applicants before April 1. Please report for duty at 9:45a.m. on your assigned duty day.
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 10 March 2026 (Tuesday).
Notes:
If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 18 March 2026 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
