Background: Oi! has been actively examining the possibility of showcasing art in the community, aspiring to create an art oasis in the city. Oi! Spotlight, our flagship project starting from March, aims to showcase the creativity of local and international artists, encourage cross-cultural dialogues, foster cultural exchanges between regions and embrace innovative ideas. A new contemporary art exhibition featuring Hong Kong artist Chan Wai-lap will be held at Oi! Glassie from March to August 2026.

- To introduce exhibitions and artworks to visitors; - to assist in daily gallery operation and manage crowd control; - to host fixed-point guided tours - to record attendance at the gallery; - to conduct visitor survey; and - to provide accessibility support. |
Date: 9 April 2026 – 30 June 2026 (Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays)
Time: 9:45 am – 1:45 pm; and 1:45pm – 5:45 pm
(Two sessions each day, with each session lasting 4 hours; please choose to serve in both the morning and afternoon sessions, or only in the one session.)

Requirement:

- Fluent in spoken Cantonese, proficiency in Mandarin and English is a plus. - Polite, good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good customer service manner. - Completed Secondary 5 education level or above. - Priority will be given to those who have experience of working as docent/ ambassador/ customer service in art-related workplaces. Briefing All successful applicants are required to attend the briefing session to learn more about the service details. Date: 30 March 2026 (Monday) Time: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Location: Oil Street Art Space (Oi!), 12 Oil Street, North Point, Hong Kong Details: The curatorial team from Oi! will introduce the exhibition and the artwork, as well as the background of Oi!, duties and gallery operation. |
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 3 March 2026 (Tuesday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 18 March 2026 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
