Background: The Hong Kong Science Museum is launching a series of educational activities, to introduce the ancient science and historical culture. By engaging in handicraft making, participants will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the wisdom of our ancestors. Chinese History and Culture Programmes 2026 will feature a special event, "Science Bar: Shadow Puppet Show", where participants can create their own shadow puppets while learning about the science of light and shadow. The Museum is now inviting Museum Volunteers to assist in conducting "Science Bar".

Requirement:
- Fluent in Cantonese and able to communicate in simple Putonghua and English preferred
- Polite with good interpersonal and communication skills and customer service manner
- Form 5 or above (Priority will be given to those who have qualifications or experience in science)
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 3 March 2026 (Tuesday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 18 March 2026 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
