Background: The Science Docent Challenge 2026 is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Space Museum and the Department of Physics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and supported by the Education Bureau. It aims at sparking students’ interests in science and enhancing their science communication skills. Contestants are required to introduce designated exhibits in an engaging and lively way to help visitors understand the science behind them. Requirement:
- Fluent in spoken Cantonese and able to communicate in simple Putonghua and English
- Friendly and patient

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 14 January 2026 (Wednesday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 11 February 2026 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
