Background: "Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training Course" teaches the theory of CPR and the operation of AED. Volunteers will  enhance their first aid skills through practical assessments, and those who pass will receive a certificate.

Details:

-         Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

-         Theory of Defibrillation

-         Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Procedure

-         Practical Assessment for AED Procedure

*The training will be conducted in Cantonese. A certificate will be issued upon completion of the practical assessment.

Date: 13 September 2025 (Saturday)

Time:  

Session 1: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM; or

Session 2: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM; or

Session 3: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM  

Location: 1/F, Sing Wah Commercial Centre, 26 Parkes Street, Jordan (Jordan Station Exit C)

No. of volunteers required: 100 volunteers (approximately 33-34 per session) 

Requirement:  

-         Interest in first aid training

-         Wear comfortable attire (no sandals, slippers, high heels, or skirts; long hair must be tied up during the session) 

Speaker: Instructor from Hong Kong Society of Professional Medical Care

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 4 August 2025 (Monday). 

Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 22 August 2025 (Friday).  The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
