[Registration closed](MVS20250904)Hong Kong Space Museum: China Manned Space Special Exhibition and Fixed-Point Interpretation Services Briefing Session

Background: The Hong Kong Space Museum invites museum volunteers to provide fixed-point interpretation services for the permanent exhibition halls and special exhibition, aiming to explain the science behind the highlighted exhibits.

To give volunteers a deeper understanding of the museum's exhibits, the Space Museum will hold a briefing session to introduce the highlighted exhibits from the China Manned Space special exhibition that will be launched in November, and the permanent exhibition halls.

Details: Assistant curators will explain the science behind the highlighted exhibits, demonstrate the operation of exhibits, and provide points to note of the museum services.

The briefing will include the follows:

• Special exhibition
• Solar System Revealed
• Keep Fit in Space
• Shenzhou Spacecraft Re-entry Module
  
• Zhurong’s Mars Exploration

**Volunteers who have attended this training will be given priority in participating for "Hong Kong Space Museum: Fixed-Point Interpretation Services".

Date: 18 November 2025 (Tuesday)

Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

 
Location: Exhibition halls of Hong Kong Space Museum (10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui)

No. of volunteers required: 60 persons

Requirement: 

-         Interested in astronomy

-         Intended to participate in volunteer services related to Hong Kong Space Museum

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 3 October 2025 (Friday).

Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 22 October 2025 (Wednesday).  The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately.
