Background: Hong Kong Film Archive is dedicated to bringing film art to the community. To enhance the public’s appreciation and understanding of film art and film history, we organise exhibitions, screenings, post-screening talks and seminars etc. on a regular basis. Public Service Ambassador would assist us in organising events and promoting film culture.

- To assist in organising screenings, post-screening talks and seminars etc., such as maintaining order, crowd control and answering public inquiries

Location: Hong Kong Film Archive (50 Lei King Road, Sai Wan Ho) No. of volunteers required: 3 persons for each session |
Requirement:
- Fluent in Cantonese, able to communicate in simple Putonghua and English will be an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Interested and have knowledge in Hong Kong films preferred
- Interested in photography, have knowledge in operating professional photographic and video equipment will be an added advantage

Each volunteer is required to attend at least 2 sessions of service
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 30 May 2025 (Friday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 18 June 2025 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
