Background: The Hong Kong Science Museum will organise the “Innovative Pathway: Hong Kong's New Era of Industry” Exhibition to showcases how local research institutes and researchers are pushing the boundaries of innovation in areas such as waste-to-energy, green technology, life sciences and healthcare, and advanced manufacturing. By applying cutting-edge technologies to real-world challenges, they are turning innovative ideas into practical solutions. The exhibition highlights how local industrialists are leveraging smart technologies to enhance production efficiency and product quality. By presenting real-world examples of how local research is being transformed into market- ready products, the exhibition underscores the vitality and potential of Hong Kong's innovation and technology (I&T) ecosystem.

| Location: G/F Special Exhibition Hall, Hong Kong Science Museum (2 Science Museum Road, Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon) No. of volunteers (Max. Capacity): 4 persons per session *Each volunteer is required to attend at least 2 sessions of service |
Requirement:
- Fluent in Cantonese and able to communicate in simple Putonghua and English preferred
- Polite with good interpersonal and communication skills and customer service manner
- Form 5 or above
- Priority will be given to those who have qualifications or experience in science or education
Briefing
*All successful applicants are required to attend the briefing session to learn more about the service details.

Time: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (including briefing and visit)
Location: G/F Special Exhibition Hall, Hong Kong Science
Museum
Details: An introduction to exhibition background, service content and related techniques. Volunteers can visit the Innovative Pathway: Hong Kong's New Era of Industry Exhibition after the briefing.
*The briefing will be
conducted in Cantonese.
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 3 April 2025 (Thursday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 11 April 2025 (Friday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
