Background: With the theme “Hong Kong H.A.S. Museums”, the 10th edition of the Muse Fest HK 2024 will take you on a journey to explore the museums under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), and experience the unique and diversified cultural connotation of Hong Kong concealed in the city, which brings you an alternative museum journey. This year’s programmes include mega events days, talks, demonstrations, workshops and fun days.

- To assist in promoting Muse Fest to visitors; distributing leaflets, souvenirs and questionnaires - Providing onsite support, e.g. crowd control, monitoring and reception (Full- day event will take place at outdoor area)

Volunteers are welcome to promote Museum Festival
on their own online platform (optional)

Date: 2 November 2024 (Saturday) & 3 November 2024 (Sunday)
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Including 1-hour meal break in rotation)
| Location: Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza (Information counter at Outpost of Salisbury Garden) No. of volunteers (Max. Capacity): 35 persons each day |
Requirement:
- Fluent in spoken Cantonese/Putonghua/English
- Able to work outdoor for a prolonged period
- Polite and has good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good customer service manner
- Form 5 or above
Briefing
*All successful applicants are required to attend the briefing as in the following time to learn more about the service details.

Time: 10:15 a.m.
| Location: Lecture Hall, B/F, Hong Kong Museum of Art (10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong) Details: Staff will introduce the flow of the event and explain the volunteers’ duties; distribute Muse Fest T-shirts for volunteers to wear during the service. |
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 23:59 pm on 1 October 2024 (Tuesday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 21 October 2024 (Monday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
