Background: Assist volunteers in understanding their own personality preferences and potential through the MBTI framework, strengthen awareness of the importance of care, support and teamwork, and enhance communication and collaboration skills by appreciating individual differences. The workshop aims to foster positive interpersonal relationships and encourage volunteers to build a more caring and supportive environment in volunteer service, daily life and community engagement.

-         Introduction to MBTI Personality Types and Their Characteristics

-         Understanding Personal Strengths, Preferences and Potential through MBTI

-         Appreciating Individual Differences and Communication Styles

-         Enhancing Teamwork, Collaboration and Mutual Support through MBTI Activities

-         Building Positive Interpersonal Relationships in Volunteer Service, Family and Daily Life

-         Strengthening a Caring and Supportive Mindset through Team-building Exercises

*The workshop will be conducted in Cantonese.

Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Location: Lecture Hall, Hong Kong Space Museum

No. of volunteers (Max. Capacity): 193 volunteers 

Requirement: 

-         Interested in learning about personality types and self-understanding through the MBTI framework

-         Interested in enhancing communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills in volunteer services and daily life.

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 7 August 2026 (Friday). Any late submission will not be considered.

Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 19 August 2026 (Wednesday).  The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
