Background: To ensure volunteers are well-prepared for the upcoming services, we are offering a series of induction training. Each training will cover the overview of a specific museum / office (history, mission, future development, activities, volunteer service opportunities etc.).

Details: The training programme will offer an opportunity for the volunteers to interact with Museum Director from Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA). The speaker will introduce the brand and the unique features of HKMoA.

HKMoA connects art to life by curating a world of contrasts with the Hong Kong viewpoint, offering refreshing experiences and understanding.

HKMoA would invite volunteers to support customer service and operations to advise visitors the proper way to interact with the artworks, in order to enhance visitor experience in gallery.

* Training workshop will be conducted in Cantonese, supplemented by bilingual presentation slides in Chinese and English.

Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 noon on 30 May 2025 (Friday).

Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 25 June 2025 (Wednesday).  The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
