Background: To ensure volunteers are well-prepared for the upcoming services, we are offering a series of induction training. Each training will cover the overview of a specific museum / office (history, mission, future development, activities, volunteer service opportunities etc.), as well as an interesting sharing on the curatorial concept and stories behind key exhibition(s).
Details:
The Intangible Cultural Heritage Office (ICHO) is dedicated to identifying, documenting, researching, preserving, promoting and transmitting Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH), as well as encouraging public participation to jointly promote the transmission and innovation of ICH.
Representatives from ICHO will introduce its work, the “Celebrating National Day — Auspicious Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Greater Bay Area” exhibition, and potential volunteer service opportunities.
*Training workshop will be conducted in Cantonese, supplemented by bilingual presentation slides in Chinese and English.

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 25 November 2024 (Monday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 16 December 2025 (Monday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
