Background: The Hong Kong Musuem of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence is organizing an exploration day to enhance public understanding on the history on the War of Resistance. There are a number of activities on that day, including a balloon booth, music show and treasure hunt.

The Museum invites volunteers to assist in crowd control of the balloon booth, distributing the question sheet of the treasure hunt, checking the answer for the question sheet, and distributing the souvenirs to the visitors who have completed the treasure hunt successfully.

-         Crowd control of the balloon booth

-         Distribution of question sheet of the treasure hunt

-         Checking answers for the treasure hunt

-         Distributing the souvenirs to the visitors who have completed the treasure hunt successfully

-         Invite the visitors to fill in questionnaires

-         To answer general enquiries from visitor

Date: 29 November 2026 (Sunday)

Time: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (including meal break)

Requirement:

-         Fluent in spoken Cantonese

-         Proficiency in Putonghua / English is preferred

-         Polite and possesses good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as good customer service manner

-         Form 5 or above (persons who have studied history subjects are preferable)

-         Details of the service and reference notes of the exhibitions will be sent to successful applicants via email later.

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 4 September 2026 (Friday).

Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 7 October 2026 (Wednesday).  The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
