Background: The Hong Kong Museum of History (HKMH) will organise a Fun Day. There will be performances, workshops and a variety of interactive programmes for public to explore the stories behind the exhibits, and to deepen the public's understanding of and interest in the HKMH 's mission, journey, exhibitions, and collections. The Museum now invites volunteers to provide logistic support to the Fun Day.

- To provide assistance in the fun day
- To help introduce interactive programmes and ensure the installations operate properly
- To manage the crowd control and provide customer services at fun day
Date: 7 November 2026 (Saturday)
Time:
- Morning session: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Afternoon session: 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Location: Hong Kong Museum of History (100 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui) - Outdoor courtyard or lobby on 1/F - Exhibition Galleries or Activity Rooms No. of volunteers required: 4 persons per session |
Requirement:

- Fluent in spoken Cantonese and able to communicate with visitors in simple Putonghua and English - Polite and has good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good customer service manner - Form 5 or above |
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 4 September 2026 (Friday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 7 October 2026 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
