[Testing](MVS20260305)ICH Carnival for Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage Month 2026: Programme Assistant
Background: The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will launch Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage Month 2026 (香港非遺月2026) (“HK ICH Month 2026” thereafter) in June this year. Highlighting the theme “ICH Around Town”" (香港處處有非遺), this programme aims to bring out that ICH can be seen everywhere in the city and inspire the public and tourists to learn more and experience the cultural value and fun of the Hong Kong ICH.
The HK ICH Month 2026 Opening Ceremony cum Carnival will kick off the "HKICH Month 2026". In an array of performances, parades, interactive booths, etc., the Carnival aims to attract participants of all ages, enhance public engagement, elevate the visibility of ICH and promote the transmission and passing on of culture.

- To assist in running activities, i.e. to assist in the interactive booths, parades, crowd control and head count, etc.

Requirement:

- Fluent in spoken Cantonese or Mandarin or English - Polite and has good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good customer service manner - Form 5 or above - Priority will be given for those who have working experience in public activities - Priority will be given or those who have knowledge in Intangible Cultural Heritage - Priority will be given for those who have assisted in the Carnival for HKICH Month 2025 or Hong Kong MuseFest. - Able to perform outdoor work and prolonged standing/walking. - Priority will be given for those who can commit to attending both days of event |

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 24 April 2026 (Friday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 13 May 2026 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
