Background: The Hong Kong Museum of History will present the ‘United in Arms, Standing for Peace ─ 80th Anniversary of Chinese Victory in the War of Resistance’ Exhibition to introduce the course of the War of Resistance. An Education Corner will be set up guiding and assisting the audience to better understand the exhibition.


Details:

-         To manage the crowd control and provide customer services at the Education Corner;

-         To assist in checking whether the multimedia programs and videos within the area are properly functioned; and

-         To assist visitors in using their personal devices to scan QR codes for accessing supplementary information.

Date: 

3 October to 15 December 2025

(Every Monday, Wednesday to Sunday)

Time: 

-         Morning session: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

-         Afternoon session: 2:30 p.m. – 5:30p.m.

 *Briefing of service will be conducted on site

Location: 

Hong Kong Museum of History

(100 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui)

Education Corner on 1/F Lobby

No. of volunteers required: 1 person per session 

Requirement:       

-         Fluent in spoken Cantonese and able to communicate with visitors in simple Putonghua and English

-         Polite and has good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good customer service manner

-         Form 5 or above

Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 26 August 2025 (Tuesday). 

Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 17 September 2025 (Wednesday).  The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
