Background: As part of Muse Fest HK 2025, the Conservation Office will organize two (2) identical conservation workshops (1.5-hour per session) at the Hong Kong Museum of Art on 8 November 2025 (Sat). Each session includes an introduction to bookbinding, a technique used in heritage conservation, followed by a fun scrapbook-making activity. Open to all—participants aged 16 or below must come with a parent or guardian. Each workshop has a maximum of 20 spots.
Helpers are recruited to 1) prepare the workshop materials and learn the skills of bookbinding in early November; 2) assist in running the workshop, as well as tutoring the participants on the event day.

Requirement:
- Must attend both briefing and workshop
- Experience in serving as a volunteer for the Conservation Office is preferred
- Being polite and possesses good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as good customer service manner
- Able to stand for long hours and carry the service outside museum environment
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 26 August 2025 (Tuesday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 22 October 2025 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
