Background: This parent-child activity is co-organised by the Space Museum and Film Programmes Office. Through engaging activities including watching the dome show The Great Solar System Adventure! and making Mars paper models, the participants will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge on space science.

- To maintain order in the activity
- To prepare and distribute the materials for the activity
- To assist the participants in making the Mars paper model
- To assist in clean up after the activity

(Including 45 minutes briefing and preparation time, activity time: 7:00
– 8:45 p.m.)
| Location: Space Theatre and Lecture Hall of Hong Kong Space
Museum (10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui)
No. of volunteers required: 6 persons for each session |
Requirement:
- Fluent in spoken Cantonese and has good interpretive skill
- Polite and has good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good customer service manner
- Priority will be given for whom have experience in astronomy education; or providing services in Hong Kong Space Museum or Hong Kong Science Museum
- Required to attend the briefing and preparation session so as to get familarised with the service details
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 30 May 2025 (Friday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 9 July 2025 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
